We, the Board of Directors of Arivaca Human Resource, are seeking a motivated self-starter who can assume the oversite of a small 501 C-3 non-profit in beautiful Arivaca, Arizona. Daily (M-F,) we provide essential support services to the communities of Amado, Arivaca and Sasabe, providing hot nutritious meals to about 80 clients daily, and assisting clients with affordable clothing, utilities, medical costs, and referrals for any assistance we can't provide directly. Grant research, writing, & administration are essential skills for program continuity, and as such will be an essential component of the position. Additional responsibilities will include: supervising both permanent (4) and volunteer staff (18 Permanent and 46 Periodic); Facility oversite, Community and Volunteer Engagement; and ensuring overall program adherence to our mission, policies and procedures.

Prior experience operating a business or non-profit services, with a history of increasing responsibility and supervision experience and/or a degree in a relevant field of study will be considered. This position requires leadership abilities and a desire to work in and with a diverse population, solid organizational and management skills; and, strong verbal and written communication. Our clients and co-workers are always treated with respect, compassion and a positive attitude. Prior to hiring, the chosen candidate will need to show proficiency working with the Microsoft Suite: Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint. Spanish proficiency would be an asset.
Salary: Up to $21.00/hour, depending on qualifications with partial stipends for Health Insurance and gas.
